WW: A Look Into My Crystal Ball

This could WELL be what my third grade class looks like next year...

Now if anyone needs me, I'll be on monster.com researching a possible career in television watching, lazing around my house, and blogging.

(Thanks to my friend Dorothy for the picture!)

I know Angie would pay me to
watch TV if she could...

RTT: On Things that Suck Right Now

Somehow or other, I have gotten old.

I didn't used to be this old.  I used to be YOUNG.

But, now I am old and I have bunions.

BUNIONS.

My right foot is all kinds of deformed.

I have the feet of a 90 year old woman.

I am ready to order my Rascal.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

It has been raining here for days and days and days.

I am pretty much over it.

There aren't enough anti-depressants in the WORLD to make this kind of weather okay.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I have to have my parent conferences at school this week.

They are long.  They are tiring.

There are many awkward pauses and some nervous sweating.

Someday I will be able to do my conferences via Instant Message, and this will be better because I will be able to sweat in private, and also because I can be barefoot and eat chips whilst I confer.

was less sucky than mine!

Aloha, TMI Question!

Despite what I've read about good blog posts needing a picture, I am going to go ahead and forgo the photographic accompaniment for this particular post...

So here's the story:

Some friends of mine attempted to make me aware of some information that is apparently widely acceptable within the realm of female personal hygiene products and their disposal.

But I WAS NOT hearing any of it!

So my TMI question for you this week is:
Do you flush tampons?

(I am a staunch believer in the flushing of anything that comes out me unless it cries and looks like my husband.)

Kailani is going to pretend I asked a nicer question...

WW: Jenni Plays Nicely With Others

Just when I was back into the blogging swing....

BAM!

It's report card week at school!

So at the moment, instead of blogging, I am spending time thinking of new and creative ways to tell parents:

A.  Your child continues to do just  fine.  I have nothing really to report.

B.  There are a few areas where he/she has or could have improvements.

C.  OMG.  Is it June yet?  I have had about enough of your kiddo!

(Just kidding about that last one!  All of the children in my class are ALWAYS an absolute delight!  And they ride unicorns and play with elves!  They are perfect little angels who NEVER make me want to bang my head into a wall or drink the ink out of the photocopy machine.)

 I give Angie a A in blogging!

Aloha, Marriage Ref!

Did you watch?

What did you think?

It cracked me up!

What's the deal with Jenni blogging 4/5 days this week?

If you and your Significant Other were to appear on The Marriage Ref, what would be the argument you were trying to win?

I am not sure what Doug and I would be debating...but I am fairly certain I would win because I am always right.  It is one of my finer qualities...my perpetual rightness.

(My husband might choose my perpetual rightness for our topic if we were on The Marriage Ref....but of course he would lose just by virtue of the fact that I am virtually infallible.)

I bet Kailani is always right, too...

WW: I Can't Quit You

I don't know what my deal is...but I have a little addiction that I need to confess to you all today.

No, I am not sniffing glue...although it is tempting most some days.
Also, I am not gambling away my children's college funds.  You'll be happy to know all 26 bucks of it is still safe and sound in my bra (I have to fill those cups with SOMETHING).

THIS is what I am addicted to:

::::insert chorus of angels here:::

Have you tried these?

They are heavenly!

No.  Seriously.  Unless you have one of those pesky peanut allergies, you need to be eating these!

I have at least one every day, and sometimes I can't help myself and I have a second one.

On an occasional day, I can admit to partaking in a third.

I have not yet reached the four Sweet N Salty granola bar mark...but I honestly can't say that it is out of the question since I have no self control AND also because I have this:

That's right!  I have forty eight bars of Sweet N Salty awesomeness.

Sweet N Salty is my addiction....Costco is my dealer.

Angie is both sweet AND salty.

RTT: Three For the Price of None!

Jumping Jehosaphat!  Two posts IN A ROW!
Look at Jenni GOOOOooooooo....

(Pardon me while I pat myself on the back.)

Random Thought Numero UNO:  I am sick to death of winter.  And to be honest, it is neither the actual season, nor is it the temperature.  The problem I have with winter at this point is that I hate all of my winter clothes.  Seriously, I want to have a bonfire in backyard and burn all of my sweaters. Every morning when it is time to get dressed for work, I stand in front of my closet and ask myself, "Which of these sweaters will LEAST make me feel like running out in front of  snow plow."

But who's kidding who?  They ALL do.  Hurry up, Spring.

Random Thought Numero DOS:  I had to google Jumping Jehosaphat because I had no idea how to spell it.  It is funny though, right?  Very Bugs Bunny-esque.  I love me some old school silliness.

Random Thought Numero TRES:  My kids are getting a new system for their school lunches where I can pre-pay with a check and they will have money on an account to pay for their food.  This is WONDERFUL because until now, I have had to scrounge around for dollar bills to send with them daily...which was NOT easy since I generally am very poor only have 50s and 100s. So now that my dollar bills will be freed up from feeding my babies at school,  I can put them toward more important things like scratch tickets, coffee, and gum!

I am SO OVER the Olympics

Actually, I think I was over the Olympics about 20 minutes after the opening ceremonies finally started and I promptly fell asleep from boredom.

Don't get me wrong...I love me some Bode Miller...but it was just A LOT.

 Helloooooo Mr. Miller...

Did we really need 4 hours of coverage every night?  I am pretty sure a more abridged version would have been fine.  I think I could have carved it down to an hour.  Show a montage of the people who fell...show the person who won...then cut to someone's mother/father/brother/dog crying.  Boom!  Show over.

I know!  I should have been a producer!

Anyway, the coverage was so long that a lot of the best stuff wound up being aired after 11 at night and HELLO, some people desperately need their beauty sleep have to get up early to go to work.  I can't be staying up until 11:45 to watch ice dancing!

Anyway...I am glad it is over and I can resume watching my regularly scheduled mindless television.

But I will miss Bode.

And Apollo.

And Shaun...
