Aloha Friday: OMG I Forgot to BLOG Edition....

Ever have one of those months where you take a little "break" from blogging, and then it turns into a longer break, and then even when you MEAN to write a blog you FORGET because you are so out of the habit???

Well. that is where I am right now....right here on the corner of Forgetful Ave. and Lack of Inspiration Street....

Do you have any suggestions for me on getting back into the SWING of things?

(I was thinking that if I quit my job, hired a maid, and sent the kids to boarding school, I could get all KINDS of blogging done!  But my husband said NO.  Pfft.)

There is a layer of dust and debris all over my house.

It is going to be GREAT when it is done though...which will be soon since I have a PhD in The Science of Nagging.

Aloha, Olympics!

I am VERY excited about the start of the Winter Olympics tonight!

I shudder at the thought of ever putting on skis myself, but I do really love watching the ski races!

I ADORE the figure skating competitions. I had aspirations of being Dorothy Hamill back in the day...and I had the haircut to prove it.

And let's not talk about my inexplicable crush on a certain red headed snow boarder...

WW: Snooooow Day!

The PLAN was to call in sick today because I had a mammogram scheduled. I figured it would be cruel and unusual punishment to have my boobs squashed AND have to teach third grade all in one day...

But Mother Nature has gone and sent a storm my way, canceling both school AND my mammogram.

We, my boobs and I, are very happy to have escaped both the teaching AND the squashing!

The Girls and I are just going to hang around in pajamas and watch TV all day!

Woot!
