Just when I was back into the blogging swing....
BAM!
It's report card week at school!
So at the moment, instead of blogging, I am spending time thinking of new and creative ways to tell parents:
A. Your child continues to do just fine. I have nothing really to report.
B. There are a few areas where he/she has or could have improvements.
C. OMG. Is it June yet? I have had about enough of your kiddo!
(Just kidding about that last one! All of the children in my class are ALWAYS an absolute delight! And they ride unicorns and play with elves! They are perfect little angels who NEVER make me want to bang my head into a wall or drink the ink out of the photocopy machine.)
I give Angie a A in blogging!

Don't drink the ink! :D
I'm sure June won't come soon enough for you!
I don't know about your students, but I know MY kids ride unicorns and play with elves.
June is coming. One more quarter and you've made it!!! Breathe deep. And go lasso a unicorn for your kids. :)
You have a very important job! Well done to you. You get an A on your report card from me.
If you come up with some magic words, let me know.
If I had a child I would be delighted if you were her teacher :)

I think my sons' teachers write their report card comments with a thesaurus next to them. I love seeing what new & unusual adjectives they come up with for 'everything is going along fine & as expected"
Funny, *I* was just wondering if it was June yet, too!
Have fun with those report cards!
Oh JJ, how I miss you! Don't let those kids steal you for long!
You should tell the stories of these children. They should be good for something like a laugh. ;)
I'm excited for June to get here too 'cuz we're goin' to the beach. C'mon Summer!!
P.s. You have Unicorns at your school? Awesome ;-P
haha! That is funny. My kids are the ones who ride unicorns hehe!
LOL! Seriously.....I don't know how you all do it, because there are some peoples kids who drive me crazy and I couldn't imagine having to deal with them for as long as you do.
I sub and I know there are some that are making you count down the days:)
I want to ride unicorns and play with elves, too! We're totally transferring to your school, My kids can deal with the 1500 mile commute - this is unicorns and elves we're talking about here!
Drink ink out of the copy machine?! That's hilarious - I feel bad that it's that stressful, but that was pretty funny.
Good luck with report card week, hope it goes more smoothly than you imagine.
I suspected that all kids fall into one of these three categories!!! Now I know it for sure!
Of course all of your students are wonderful, only other teachers have problem students, wink wink. Hang in there, it will be June before you know it.
My kids are angels as long as you follow certain rules....
N. needs her meds.,J. needs feeding regularly and keep I. away from scissors.
If their teachers have nothing to report I am a happy bunny!
