Random Thought Numero UNO: I am sick to death of winter. And to be honest, it is neither the actual season, nor is it the temperature. The problem I have with winter at this point is that I hate all of my winter clothes. Seriously, I want to have a bonfire in backyard and burn all of my sweaters. Every morning when it is time to get dressed for work, I stand in front of my closet and ask myself, "Which of these sweaters will LEAST make me feel like running out in front of snow plow."
But who's kidding who? They ALL do. Hurry up, Spring.
Random Thought Numero DOS: I had to google Jumping Jehosaphat because I had no idea how to spell it. It is funny though, right? Very Bugs Bunny-esque. I love me some old school silliness.
Random Thought Numero TRES: My kids are getting a new system for their school lunches where I can pre-pay with a check and they will have money on an account to pay for their food. This is WONDERFUL because until now, I have had to scrounge around for dollar bills to send with them daily...which was NOT easy since I generally am very poor only have 50s and 100s. So now that my dollar bills will be freed up from feeding my babies at school, I can put them toward more important things like scratch tickets, coffee, and gum!

We have the online lunch system. My son took his lunch to school everyday last year and we somehow had a balance that we owed?? This year we put $5 in at the beginning of the year in case he wanted chocolate milk or ice cream...we now owe 85 cents?

I always love getting the tubs of clothes out with the change of seasons. I'm like you-- sick of winter clothes and SO ready for spring and summer dresses and skirts, tops, capris... *swoon*
Prepayying for school lunches takes away a lot of Mommy stress.

I LOVE the prepaid school lunch system! I can send money and it's there. No need to try and remember every morning or every week when they had weekly tickets. The best part is that the money carries over each year if there's left over until your kid graduates or leaves.

We've had the "lunch account" thingy since my kids started school here. Guess what's weird? I've gone back to leaving 5's on the counter.

I am tired of winter, not because of clothes though... just the cold!!! maybe shoes, I guess. I am a flip flop girl!
We have the auto pay lunch thing. I love it, ensures the cafeteria staff won't think I'm a bad mom for forgetting to give my kid cash in the a.m. hours. I mean, I am a bad mom for all kinds of other reasons.
Sweaters. Ick.
You had to come up with the money for their lunch every day they bought? That would kill me.
And, I remember those LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGgggg MA winters. I feel for you.

Watch out for that pay-ahead thing. We did that with our kids and suddenly we were running out of money quick because the kids were buying snacks...for themseleves...their friends...etc... just make sure you tell the school what is allowed and what isn't. UGH

Prepaid lunch IS fantastic until you forget to pay it several days in a row. Eventually, when you do that long enough, your kids will have to eat nasty PBJ sandwiches from a brown paper bag and then yell at you when they get home. Or so I hear...
Awwwwwwwww winter.. we kind of had a few sunny days so i hope I'm not jinxing it but i love it! Yeah i hated the winter clothes too... i hope soon i can pack them up!
