RTT: On Things that Suck Right Now

Somehow or other, I have gotten old.

I didn't used to be this old.  I used to be YOUNG.

But, now I am old and I have bunions.

BUNIONS.

My right foot is all kinds of deformed.

I have the feet of a 90 year old woman.

I am ready to order my Rascal.

It has been raining here for days and days and days.

I am pretty much over it.

There aren't enough anti-depressants in the WORLD to make this kind of weather okay.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I have to have my parent conferences at school this week.

They are long.  They are tiring.

There are many awkward pauses and some nervous sweating.

Someday I will be able to do my conferences via Instant Message, and this will be better because I will be able to sweat in private, and also because I can be barefoot and eat chips whilst I confer.

I bet Keely's randomess
was less sucky than mine!

As we get older, you know everthing hurts in the morning, and we start to look different, even in the mirror.

Works keeps getting in the way of living more and more.

You're only as old as you feel!

I am boring now...if it makes you feel any better.

I wish I could be a little bit more exciting, like I was when I was younger.

Jeremiah wrote this great story about me when I was 19 and instead of reminiscing with him and enjoying what he wrote I just cried.

Was I ever that fun?

ok. That was just totally depressing. ha (fake laugh).

I find myself looking in the mirror these days and wondering who the hell I'm looking at. I used to be young...and fun...now I'm old and I look like some mom at the grocery store...then I realize I AM some mom at the grocery store...and I shed a little tear....

I just told my husband that something has happened to my eyes. I can't read the print on bottles anymore. Old age is not fun lol Happy RTT!

I would be soooo OK with online parent-teacher conferences.

And the old-thing is so not fun. Maybe we aren't "old" but just "older". In any case ... ironic. The first two decades of life are spent wanting to be older. And then the rest of life is spent wondering why we were all in such a hurry to grow up? :)

Yes it would be nice to instant message your school conference. And as a bonus, you may not even have to be there— just have someone else be you (they've never seen you before so it won't matter right).

I've always wondered if teachers dreaded Teacher COnferences.

Sorry about the rain.

If it makes you feel any better, I have the hands of a 90 year old. Big, fat, veins all over em. Dry, cracked, ugly. :)

How can you have bunions AND parent/teacher conferences? That's just wrong.

In my countdown of life, I have TWO parent/teacher conferences left. Wow!

Happy Random! I hope the sun comes out!

come to me in SC, it doesn't ever rain in my town, it's in some kind of magical vortex. You'd love it.

But if you are barefoot, then you have to look at your bunions. I recommend socks.

I think we have the same feet. Except my deformity is on my left.

Aging is an awful, awful thing. I will not age gracefully...or silently.
