How can it be 2010?
Where's my flying car, talking robot maid, and teleportation device?
I am pretty sure I was supposed be living like Jane Jetson by now!
But yet here I sit in 2010, and there is no robot maid ANYWHERE in sight.
Hmph.
I guess the last ten years HAVE brought some pretty cool new innovations into my life...
Like my iPhone, my TiVo, the Wii...and probably some other awesome gadgets with funky capitalization that I am not thinking of...
But how far away do you think we are from having Rosie Robot?
Because I am getting pretty tired of cleaning up my house and keeping my children in line.
Also, I'd like one of these:
Pretty freakin' sweet, right?
What would YOU like to see invented for your convenience this decade?

I am totally in agreement with you.. I NEED a robotic maid... among other things. I LOVE my iPhone and the Wii...
It coming. We have the vacuum cleaner that we don't have to operate so the other stuff is coming. Have a Happy New Year and look forward to more giggles from you this year.

A Rosie the Robot would totally rock! Until then, I would settle for hubby getting his clothes in thet hamper on a daily basis.
One new thing that I have that is amazing is a video phone...and my whole family and friends have it so every time we talk to each other we see each other...it's unbelieveable...it often reminds me of the jetsons...since they had those too. LOL
But I so look forward to Rosie the robot and the hovercraft...

Being that I'm the ONLY one who cooks in this house, I would love one of those vending-type machines that pops out healthy meals!
I want a house that cleans itself, and a paycheck without going to work. You know, little things...

Didn't the Jetson's also have that machine that showered you, combed your hair, dressed you, and loaded your family into the car for the morning? I want that. WOuld make our mornings SO MUCH easier!

Teleportation baby!
Since I love to travel, I'd want a teleporter. Or even better yet, I'd love a time machine. But the robo-maid and dinner machine would be AMAZING too!

We were just talking about that today too. I guess great minds think alike. LOL But I guess I would like "BEAM ME UP SCOTTIE" yes, just to beam me where ever I would like to be instead of worrying about the price of gas, pollution, and car repairs, and airflight hikes. I want the dial a food thingy the Jetsons had too. I mention that frequently. Just as long as real food comes out and not those pills they sometimes ate.
that "cook all my meals for me" contraption definitely looks sweet - I'll take one of those. Also a teleporter so I don't have to drive would be lovely.

I think the lady who said throwaway baby socks is funny. Don't they all just disappear on their own anyway? :)
Um ... I don't know. I'd like something that just makes the dust in my house simply disappear at the push of a button. :)
Oh, and a bathing suit that is actually flattering to women who have had children. I'm surprised that one hasn't been invented yet. But it hasn't.

does the Roomba vacuum count? That company also makes a gutter robot and pool robot.
They will probably be the ones with a house cleaning one.
