Suddenly there are Christmas commercials all over my television...and every time I see one I have a mild panic attack and want to get under my bed. How is it that time of year already? Didn't we just have Christmas?
Speaking of Christmas...do you think my 4th grader really believes in Santa, or is he just humoring me at this point. Be honest with me...I can take it. LIE TO ME.
In other holiday randomness...Do you have any fun Veteran's Day plans? Are you hitting up any patriotic parades or anything? My plans are to stay in my pajamas all day...which is not very patriotic but IS very American, in my opinion.
Finally, in random holiday news, my Keurig coffeemaker is behaving badly. I am not sure what the problem is, but I do know that the process of using it to make my coffee in the morning is slowly becoming more and more annoying. Do you know how to ruin a coffee addict's morning? Make her use a malfunctioning coffeemaker.

RTT: Holidaze
And in case you aren't catching my hint here, I need a new Keurig for Christmas.
I can't wait to see what Keely gets me for Christmas.

(Sorry, I had too many typos)
Jenni, he knows that you are really Santa.
Buy yourself the coffee pot immediately, it's too important to wait!

Oh the kid's gotta know the deal about Santa... he just likes to tease you .. i know we used to do that with our folks..when we were kids.. it was fun:)
Happy Tuesday!
*my Random Tuesday Thoughts is up too:)
Ya know, I wonder about my 4th grader too. She already knows about the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny... think this year the jig is up LOL... LOVE me Keurig and I dont even drink coffee... I use it for tea and hot chocolate!
I think my 8yo believes, but is skeptical. We helped ourselves keep the magic alive longer by starting out with the tradition that Santa only brings one gift. That way in lean years he understands Santa pulls through, but mom and dad can't always buy the world. I'm ok with Santa being the hero.
For Veteran's Day we're eating out. Not sure where yet. My husband has already been a participant in 2 Veteran's Day ceremonies.
DO you need to de-scale your Keurig? I heard someone else had issues and they needed to do that. Not sure what it entails though. Otherwise I'd call them if it's not that old. They have warranties.
I was in Target on Sunday, and felt like I was in Santa's freakin workshop.. there were Christmas decorations EVERYWHERE!
I am pretty sure I had a mild panic attack.
I'd say he knows about Santa, but is hedging his bets, going along with it to make you happy.
I'm staying in my PJs to, though I may have to go to Wal Mart & get some McD's and a Coke.
I'm skipping Christmas this year and going straight to New Year's....bring on the booze!!
I never know at what point they stop. Perhaps he does know, but would much rather play along because it's still fun. Once it stops being fun then he'll be all anti-Santa.
Thanks for your randomness.
I think I'll shop on Veteran's Day. Gymboree is having a Veteran's Day sale you see.
I just noticed a plethora of Christmas commercials too. WTH?
Have a wonderful RTT!

He knows about Santa, and if not tell him to ask Santa for a new coffee maker.
He still believes as do I - what are you saying here anyways?!
I know, this year flew by. I cannot believe all the XMAS stuff everywhere already. I am on top of it this year and already got about half my shopping done too :)
Christmas is coming way too fast this year!
My parents have a Keurig. They made me a cup from it and when I told them my coffeemaker made better coffee, my mother growled at me. I've learned to never insult a Keurig owner. :-)
I think your kid knows that there isn't a Santa, but deep down inside he hopes that Santa exists.
He's pretending in order to keep getting the goodies. I'm not prepared to face the reality of Christmas' arrival.
Well, he MIGHT really still believe! Hope you get that new Keurig!
Your 4th grader could still believe because my 6th grader does. My oldest believed until 7th grade.
My husband wants a Keurig coffeemaker so I can't buy one for him and you. Really sorry about that.
Enjoy your day off. My plans are pretty much the same as yours.
Ok, if it makes you feel any better my oldest believed until 9th grade.
I am SO not ready for Christmas.
We broke it to my sixth grader last year. She'd had her suspicions. I just didn't want her to be the only one in middle school who was still debating the validity of that theory.
I'm just going to pretend I didn't see this post. I don't even think about Christmas until AFTER Thanksgiving. I refuse.
By 4th grade, I'd think he is questioning Santa. Just the other day, my husband and I were talking and my 2nd grader was coming down the steps. She overheard me say to my husband- I think Santa left directions for you for the bunkbeds that he brought for the girls. "Wow, there really is a Santa." Her response after hearing our conversation. Feel like such a liar, but so much fun for them!

I can't believe the holiday commercials are already starting. Although the Christmas displays before Halloween were even more upsetting. I wonder the same thing about my 5th grader. I wonder does she believe or is she just trying to keep him on the hook for presents.
