RTT: Excuses, Excuses

Random Things That Distracted Me From Blogging Yesterday
(alternatively titled: Whoops!)

1. Daylight Savings Time <-ridiculous

2. New! Bejeweled Blitz <-addictive

3. Halloween Candy <-delicious

4. Report Cards <-tiring

5. Zumba Choreography <-booty shaking

6. Short Term Memory Loss <-I like cheese

And just so you know, I will be blaming Daylight Savings Time for everything for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

Daylight Savings Time sucks eggs. What kind of crap IS that, anyway?

I thought you gave up bejeweled blitz?

I'm still adjusting to the time change too

I have no idea what daylight savings are - one year I'm determined to just ignore the two time changes and see how quickly things get screwed up :P

I'll probably be rested at least one more day from the return to stabdard time. Then it will seem dreary every late afternoon as winter's grip takes ahold of us. Time to take the dog out, he didn't set his clock back yet!

I haven't tried Bejeweled Blitz yet. I am stuck on Mafia Wars. Its interesting because I'll get calls on my cell (from other players) while I am on line at the grocery store and I'll say things like, "Sure, when I get home, I'll send you some Blackmail photos, some chain guns and a couple of untraceable cell phones." The folks in line next to me just stare at me.

I hate daylight savings too. I swear the day we change our clocks back an hour is the longest day ever.

I'm sure the candy was well worth it :)

Have a great rtt!

Daylight savings can suck it. Thanks to DST, Tommy was wide awake at 5AM. I was all, Kid, it's a time change, and you've already been up all night. SLEEP. And he was all, SQUEALLLLLL. Stupid time change.

You could move to Hawaii, they don't play the daylight savings time game.

But this is the GOOD DST. The bad one is when we lose an hour.

so with you on daylight savings - the whole thing is just silly!

I agree about the daylight savings time. My kids are to blame for my lack of productivity yesterday. And the Halloween candy.

I vote that we stick with our current time. No more changes. (Now my girls can milk the cows and get the fields in order before going to school ;-> )

No more time changes!!!

I know what you mean. Teaching my Body Pump class last night IN THE DARK made me want to shoot some one. Mainly the person who invented DST.

Daylight savings time was clearly created by someone who did NOT have kids. It is just plain evil.

I blame everything that goes wrong at work on the guy that had my job before me. It's been 4 years.

Stacy (the Random Cool Chick) said...

The time change always messes me up. I like gaining the hour in the fall, but then stay up later than I should because I have that extra hour. So I end up using it up and not catching up on sleep.

Sounds like a good plan to blame everything on the time change. ;)

OMG. Bejeweled Blitz. That is such a time suck! They really need to make a patch or something for the addiction it causes.

I am so addicted to Bejeweled Blitz it's not even funny. I also got my MiL addicted. Yup, yup.

Happy RTT!!!

Gotta admit that while I liked fall back I used to hate the spring. That is one good thing about Arizona though; no daylight savings time. So we're either on California time or Mt time. Take your pick.

I thought this DST would be great, but we're still late for everything!

We forgive you.

But just stay away from anything Bejeweled! :)

I think that being a teacher and a mom are good enough excuses. That would keep anyone plenty busy! :)

What? Who are you? Where am I? When can I go to bed?....

And someone -- pass me some Reese's....

Hugs Miss Jiggety!

Is Bejeweled Blitz different than regular Bejeweled because my husband is addicted to that.

I like this return to standard time. That extra hour rocked, especially since I forgot to change my clock.

But, I hate the switch to daylight savings in the spring!

I always feel like winter officially starts when the time changes. The long nights are rather depressing and we should blame all the evils in the world on them!

let's revisit the zumba choreography...you are NOT an instructor. please, do tell.

Wish I understood your hate for DLS. I love it. I hate when it is dark in the morning. Plus...it saves me from the morning walk with the dog. Light=9year old boy does the deed.

I'm just going to pretend I didn't see that about Bejeweled Blitz!

HATE the 5:00pm blackness!

SageMom said...

We don't do Daylight Savings in Hawaii. The only thing that we need to remember is how some cable shows are on at different times now...

I don't blame you for all the distractions, especially the Halloween Candy! candy distracts me all the time! LOL!
