I have a PLAN to hit the stores for some black Friday shopping later today.
I am NOT one of those 4 am crazies...although I am not above it. If there was something I really wanted, I would go out, but there never seems to be anything on my list that makes me feel the need to head to KMart in my PJs...
I do like to go out into the hustle and bustle though...for some reason it gets me in the holiday mood!

I very briefly considered whether $30 off a Nintendo DS was worth a 5am visit to Wal Mart. $30 is a decent amount off and of course that price was out of stock online. But then I figured there would be 500 other people wanting what would turn out to be probably 7 Nintendo DSs and I am just not ruthless enough to get one.
So I stayed in bed and considered the $30 a 'wimp fee'

I am not shopping today. I am not even remotely interested in going out with the crushing crowds.
We had pumpkin cheesecake yesterday and I am crazy (LOL) but not at 4am on Black Friday!
I stayed home and away from masses.
I love a good bargain. I wouldn't mind doing some shopping today, but we are spending the day hanging out with family we don't get to see often enough and have to say good bye to too soon.
I WANTED to shop today but no such luck! My hubby had a longstanding dirtbike day with the guys and that took precedence. LOL It's probably a good thing though because I love the hustle and bustle of it all too and the IDEA of a great buy, but the crowds frustrate me. I'm holding out for cyber Monday. LOL
I had butterfinger cake and apple pie...and I was asleep this morning when everyone was out getting all the good deals!
I did no shopping today. I am in denial that Christmas is less than a month away. I did eat a slice of apple pie yesterday (with ice cream) and a slice of pumpkin roll--YUM!! Does that count for anything?
not a 4am crazy, we went to target at noon and still got the stuff we wanted

I'm definitely not a '4 AM Crazy'. But a strange part of me wakes up, looks at the clock and thinks 'Wow, people are shopping right now'. And I keep doing it until 7 !!! I make no sense.

I've done black friday exactly once. I managed not to kill anyone, just barely.
Needless to say I've learned my lesson and I would rather pay full price than go through that hell ever again.
I was a midnight crazy at Toys R Us. Then I got home and found out they had the work bench that I was getting my 3yo online for the same sale price. A lot of the stores had the same sales online as in store this year. I was mad to find out I could've stayed home, warm, and dry.

It kicked my butt -- you know, being on the other side of the register. But it was fun and busy and I loved talking to the people and hearing about their bargain score. Most people were nice -- except for some mean lady that stole someone's else's skirt from her pile. Whaddyagonnado?...

I did hit a few stores. I can't help it I'm always looking for a deal and it strangely gets me in the holiday spirit.
i have never been a black friday shopper, I don't get the whole craze. maybe cause I never know what I'm getting or have the funds to buy anything right after Thanksgiving.

I definitely had pie - three different kinds! but I opted out of the 4am craziness. Never again.
