Living Large on the LUX Level

Doug and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary yesterday!

To celebrate, we went out to dinner and a movie on Sunday night...

But we didn't go to just any old movie theater...

We checked out the swanky new LUX Level!

Here are our BIG COMFY seats...

Notice the little table and the menu? That's because in the LUX Level, a waitress will bring you food and drinks!

Here is what I ordered:

Five layer chocolate cake and raspberry mojito!

Doug was a little more traditional:

He ordered popcorn and Sprite.
(Borrrrrring! Although I think I ate more of that popcorn than he did!)

We really enjoyed our LUX Level experience!

Having reserved seats rocked.

Having a whole menu and booze cocktails as an option was fabulous.

And since you have to be at least 21 years old to be seated in that area, there were no children of any kind there. And that was totally freakin' sweet!

We don't look old enough to have been married 13 years, do we?

(Lie to me.)

Holy cow!!!! That theatre looks amazing!!!! I don't think we have anything like that around here. I'd seriously pay a babysitter $100/hour just to see a movie at a place like that!

Happy anniversary....you both look so sweet together (and young!!)

You nearly don't look old enough to be sitting in that theater! (How's that?)

Happy Anniversary. I'm jealous. What movie was it anyways?

Happy Anniversary! I didn't even know they had swanky theaters like that. I love that you didn't have any next door neighbors!

We need theaters like that here.

Happy Anniversary! And you absolutely don't look old enough to have been married for 13 years. Was it a kindergarten wedding like Princess Nagger said she had recently? ;)

Way Cool, I wish there was a theater like that where I lived.

I love your orders! CONGRATS on 13 years, so you guys must be 14 years old if you have been married 13 years, right. You look so young :)

See? Just another reason to hate the boondocks!

Love the way you choose to celebrate. And no, not 13 yrs! Much to young to be 13 yrs.

Happy Anniversary! This is my second comment - the first gave error #503 - so I am trying again. Looks like a great theater - I wish we had one that offered the LUX level.

First off, Happy Anniversary but secondly, oh my god that sounds like a great time! I'd love to go to a Lux Level, which I'd never even heard of until just now - which theater is that in (or is that the name of the theater?)?

OH. MY. GOD. And here I was getting all worked up over having a popcorn butter pump at my theater!! I need to find this and I need to find it now ... and I will go by myself and have both seats and take a nap after my 3 cocktails and big piece of cake.

As for your last question on your post: "We don't look old enough to have been married 13 years, do we?

(Lie to me.)"

No. You must have gotten married at 16.

(no lie)
