exact same scenario over here. just substitute pizza delivery for drive thru.
Love it! I make reservations too:) Although I am not much of a cook either but I've found a few easy things I can make. My hubby doesn't get home until 6:30 so the kids would never eat if I didn't cook but I'm with you on the cleaning.
Ya make me laugh, Miss Jenni. Seriously. Good thing you and I are both married to saints, otherwise we would never eat and probably have to invest stock in a paper plate company.

I can cook, but I am lazy so microwavable and premade dinners are totally my thing!
That's about how we eat when my husband is gone. Mac and cheese, frozen foods, cereal, etc. Oh, and take out. Lots of take out.
The video was too cute. You could make the ums and uhs your signature and the rest of us could make it a drinking game.

Can I get a copy of that song that you play at the end? It was Awesome!! I admire you for being so honest in your vlog. I've been doing a lot of similar style cooking lately. My excuse? My husband is rarely around, and who wants to put forth the effort for a bunch of kids?!

My hubby does all the clean up here too but I have to go behind him and clean up again b/c I am crazy like that.
I am seriously envious of your video editing skills - I'm not sure I could do that if I tried...
And now I'm feeling marginally better about my cooking skills, except I'm not really all that much better than you and luckily I am also married to a saint. :)

I thought I was the worst cook ever. TILL I SAW YOUR VIDEO! lol. (just kidding. - no I'm not, lol. yes I am)
Did you know...that if you add some browned ground beef to Kraft Mac and Cheese you get like a hamburger helper that actually tastes better? lol. Learned that from my kids.

I must have done something really wrong in my past life because I do both the cooking and the cleaning up. Can I borrow your husband from like 6-7pm every night?

I loved this!!! You are a mom after my own heart. And to think I was feeling guilty about giving my kiddos Kraft mac-n-cheese for dinner tonight!!! I was so relieved to see that I'm not alone! It's not THAT bad, right? I mean, it does have calcium and protein in it. And, like you said, it's better than pop rocks and chocolate milk!!
You and I are total Kitchen Sistas! Hubs does all the cooking around here, too. But you'll have to tell me how you managed to get him to do all the cleaning, too! Right now, he cooks and I clean. I would definitely like to see that swing more in HIS direction!!! Perhaps you can post a tutorial?
