Have you ever gone to get a tattoo, fallen asleep, and woken up with stars tattooed all over your face?
Yeah, she hasn't either.
But that is the story she is trying to tell.
Now I have never had a tattoo because in addition to being a gigantic baby, I am also indecisive and cheap, and you really can't be any of those things if you want to have a licensed professional stab permenant ink into your body.
But even though I have never been inked, I pretty sure you generally don't SLEEP through the procedure.
And I am CERTAIN that if someone was jamming needles into my FACE, it would not exactly be nappy time...
Anyway, I am thinking she should just GO with it. It's not thaaaaaaaat bad, right?
Add some color...a few hearts...maybe some glitter...and she'll look just fine - in a circus freak kind of way.

I often wonder WTF people are thinking when they tattoo their FACE.

Um, no, she didn't fall asleep through getting a tattoo any more than any of us who have given birth fell asleep during that. I've done both and they both HURT. At least when you're in labor they give you pain meds.
She ruined her face, had buyers remorse and now is stuck looking like a freak. Poor dear, that is why there is the expression "YOUNG AND DUMB"

I have 4 tats & cannot imagine sleeping through any of them. She had to have been on something.
BUT! while I was getting the second one a woman in the chair next to me was getting a spiderweb tattooed on her chest & boobs and she WAS asleep. She fell asleep while I was sitting there, she'd been saying she found tattoos relaxing.Staring at her almost took my mind off the pain.
I would guess, given that I have a few tattoos, that MOST people could not fall asleep during a session.
Especially not with the tattoo gun near your face. Those things aren't exactly silent.
I'm going with...buyer's remorse. And mom and dad probably weren't thrilled, so she needed to blame someone else.

I'd seen this. I think falling asleep is another word for "regret".
I have two tattoos. One on my wrist and one on my back. The one on my back, not bad. It was soothing, oddly. But still, the noise of the machine and the adrenaline from getting ink done was enough to keep me up.
My second tat, on my left wrist, hurt. Enough to make me stop the artist for a breather. The area is sensitive and gets thin skinned towards the middle of the wrist, right over that major vein there. No way I could have slept through that.
Unless she has some medical condition that would cause her body to fall asleep under a large amount of pain/stress, there isn't anyway that she fell asleep during a tattoo on her FACE, where there isn't a lot of fat between the bone and skin. OUCH!
Own up to the tattoo and move on. You can't point a finger and blame someone else for your poor choice.

Yeah, I saw this online. I am guessing it's either a case of serious tat remorse (duuuh!) or someone with a strict father who kicked her ASS the second she got home. Well deserved, IMO.
PS- Has anyone told you they are having problems with your blog feed? Yours (as well as others) isn't showing up in my reader for days. The nerve!

No tats for me either. I just pull the Jewish excuse. John doesn't have any tats himself. He says he wants one, but he's been saying that for years and never once got close.

yeah...no way she fell asleep. It's not exactly a cozy procedure. I have two tats. I put them where I can cover them. There is NO freaking way she slept through that. Passed out from pain? Perhaps. Slept? No.
I'm too scared to get a tattoo. I worry it'll be all saggy and scary when I'm really old.

There is NO WAY she slept through all that...I have 2 tasteful tattoo's and am thisclose to being talked into one more with one of my best friends during our visit to Louisiana... And there is NO WAY anyone can sleep through a small one, let alone splayed all over your face! Yeesh!
