Yesterday I noticed I have this bizarre bug bite with a weird bruised area all around it.
Ugly? Yes!
Strange? Absolutely!
Proof that cats are furry little demons who hate me?

The cat drawing is funny! I'm also have ign cat issues. My neighbors feel the need to let theirs wander even though housing rules say any animal outside MUST be on a leash. There's about 5 cats I see routinely. They'd better not let me catch them on my patio furniture since we're allergic.

That's funny! I didn't see it until your drawing. Although I do like cats my hubby is allergic so he's convinced they're evil and out to get him too. Now I'm a dog person because of him.

On a serious note -- that looks like a spider bite -- could even be a brown recluse bite -- only speaking because I was bitten by one a few years back and my neighbor just got bit by one last week.
It's very typical to get a bruise, and redness that gets larger and larger. If in a few days it doesn't appear to be getting any better, get in to see your Dr. It's not uncommon to have to go on an antibiotic after a severe bite. Just stay on top of it.
Loved the cat picture - I have two cats and while at times they are evil - mostly they are my buddies.

Looks like a spider bite to me too although sometimes my mosquito bites get that big b/c I scratch them so much. Hope it feels better.

Well clearly that is a bite from the rare Felinas Arachnidae, commonly known as the Cat Spider. That cat shaped bruise is just the first stage. Soon you will develop a yen for licking yourself and will uncontrollably chase around small bits of string.

Ouch! I have a scar from a kitten we had a while back. She liked to CLIMB UP MY LEGS like I was a scratching post. She was the devil I am pretty sure.

The cat drawing/shape is really quite fantastic.
I think it is a spider bite too. We learned that even non-poisonous spiders can transfer bacteria when they bite you. My daughter had to get a shot and be on antibiotics for a week when she was bitten by a non poisonous spider. Of course, the bite did make her leg swell up, too.
But you've gone 2 for 3 for Halloween animals. You've got a cat and a spider. Now all you need to do is somehow involve a bat and your good. OK, so I know that was random. Hopefully your leg gets better!

That bug bite looks PAINFUL!! And thanks for the visual assistance with the drawing - I kept trying to see 'cat' in the first picture and couldn't quite visualize...of course my mind was going elsewhere thinking you were going to reveal it wasn't a bug bite but a cat bite or clawing so I was trying to visualize 'how'... :)

Cats are Not evil. To date my little girl has killed two scorpions (in my house), a few spiders, flies & even a centipede. Not evil, not evil. *g*

Looks like an ant bite. Or one of those spider bites that end up with 40 tiny spiders inside your leg. Or 40 tiny cats.
Um, that kind of looks like ringworm. And you do get it from cats. Or it could be a spider bite. Either way, I would go see a doctor.
