Seriously, if you have never been to Fenway Park, you really should try to get there someday! It is an amazing place...the oldest ballpark in the country!
Built in 1912! That is like, really WICKED old!
Plus if you go, you can try a Fenway Frank!
And beer, popcorn, and ice cream!
And more beer!
(And some Cracker Jack and cotton candy, you know, for the children...)

I love baseball food. I think that's my favorite part, to be honest. I'm really not into sports. I mean I enjoy baseball for the first 4 innings and then I'm all, "So, is it done yet?"
But I usually pig out on nachos and hot dogs and cotton candy...and, well, probably everything the concession stand has to offer. That's my entertainment I guess.
We don't have a single real baseball stadium where I live! My poor kids have never been to a real baseball game! I remember going to see the Dodgers and the Angels play as a kid (does that give away where I grew up). I LOVED those hot dogs! And the wave. And those silly beach balls they pass through all the crowds. Have a blast!
That sounds awesome! It looks awesome. It is just awesome all around. I've never been to Boston, let alone Fenway. I stink. You've made it seem very inviting, though, so maybe that can be our summer trip. I hope you are all having a blast.

Fenway is the BEST. I have the sweetest memories of going with my dad and eating hot dogs and going early to meet the players down in the dugout. HAVE FUN!!!!
I've been to Fenway more times than Yankee Stadium! (Seriously!) That's what happens when you're a baseball fan with a stadium that's practically on your college campus. Even this Yankee fan admits it's a great place.

We never make it to any of the major league games but we try to go to a minor league game every summer--I can't wait!
For me the only way to enjoy bb is actually in person. Hoist a dog (only place to eat those!!) for me & have a great time.
So. Freekin. Jealous. Hubby gets tix to fenway every year around his birthday in Sept, but I don't want to wait that long!!! Though my post-pregger butt may need the RemDog-Bud Light therapy by then...

I never went inside Fenway Park while we lived in MA.........one of my great regrets. I did drive by the green monster a lot, though. :) Isn't that what they call it?

I've been to Fenway once and absolutely loved it. There was just something special about the place that is hard to describe. Plus I lost my wallet there and some random guy shipped it back to MD for me on his own dime. Since then I've been a real fan of Boston. :)

Hope you had a great time! One of these days we'll drag the fam down south, the 2 1/2 hours from where we are in Maine, and finally hit a game. Well, once we've all recovered from the kitchen remodel. Until then, have a beer and a dog for us!
