Mothers Day Mania

I spent my entire Mother's Day morning IN MY BED.

I slept until 9am!

I ate breakfast in bed!

I played with my laptop in bed!

And I watched classic 90210 reruns in bed!

It pretty much rocked my socks...

My gift from Doug was 4 tickets to go with the boys to a Red Sox game!

I am SO excited...

The boys have never been to Fenway Park, and I have been dying to take them!

They are going to LOVE it!

The hot dogs! The WAVE! Sweet Caroline!

The hot Red Sox players working and sweating in the field!
(Well, I love that part anway...)

It is a REALLY terrific gift, and it so helps to make up for the Great Valentine's Day Gift Giving Gaff of 2009...

I hope all you Bad Muthas had a VERY happy day, too!

Good Monday Morning! Just spreading some belated Mother's Day cheer through the Blogoverse.

Okay, after reading your post, I think next year I might re-think the whole Sunday morning church routine -- just so I can stay in bed later.

But I got a nap, so it all worked out!

And what a great Mother's Day gift -- some year, I so want to catch a game at Fenway. It's just a ballpart everyone MUST visit in their lifetime. Ever been to Wrigley? That's another great ballpark you should try and get to sometime with the kiddos!

Have a hotdog for me!

Ballpark! I meant ballpark -- not ballpart! Must get more coffee!!!

IMADORK!

Throw a little "tessie" in there and I'm goin with you.
I hate being so far from Fenway now. I get my SOX where I can. This year that'll be Baltimore. But I AM ridiculously excited to go to Camden Yards.

What series/game are you going to? And did I mention, I'm jealous...? Cause I'm not... Not one bit... Uh-uh...

I don't even think I knew you were from Boston (or in that general vicinity). I'm originally from RI.
*sigh...nope, not jealous at all.

It sounds like we approach Mother's Day in the same lazy way. Have fun at the game!! Love when they sing Sweet Caroline (and I'm an Oriole fan so that is saying something).

Love the gift. I remember how much fun it is taking the kids to something new for them the first time! The wonder in their eyes.........awesome!

Sounds very similar to my day minus the 90210 reruns (I watched Food Network) and the tickets.

Sounds like the kind of MOther's Day that I had! I think us mother's are very simple in our needs, we just want to be waited on and have a home cooked meal!

Sounds like a wonderful mothers day. I got my breakfast at an outdoor place like I wanted :)

Red Sox tickets???? Lucky dog! My husband and his family are from the Boston area, so we go up there every summer for 2 weeks. In fact, my third daughter's name "Caroline" was derived from my husband's idol Neil Diamond.

Lucky dog!

Sounds fun! I was hoping for tickets to something as well, but I got a shopping trip instead which right now is even better!

Excellent gift. Love Fenway and I go often. Your kids are going to love, love the ballpark. If you have time one weekend or weekday during the summer, take them on the Fenway tour. It's so much fun!! The history is great, too!

What a fabulous Mother's Day! Good for you!

That sounds like a perfect day. Due to illness, my mother's day has been postponed until next week. That is pretty much what I asked for. I don't want to change a diaper, feed, chase or clean up after a toddler for ONE WHOLE DAY.

on a side note, I do regret never getting to Fenway when we lived in Boston. Hubby went twice and I totally passed.

Have a great time with your boys!

Oh sounds like a complete slice of Heaven in every single way.

Glad it was a great Mother's Day!!

My Oldest (6) woke me up at 6:45, too excited with thoughts of giving me his handmade card to sleep any longer.

I'm trying to remember that in a few short years he won't want to be seen driving with me.

Enjoy the game!!

Sounds like you had a great mothers day. Last year I was stuck in bed --just had surgery and this year stuck on the couch with a fractured tail bone. I'm hopping next year it is a whole lot better.
